My Review:

 I want to preface my review.  I have not read Tempest Rising, the first book in the series.  So this is my first experience with these characters.  I absolutely loved Tempest Unleashed!  I loved it so much that I am going to buy Tempest Rising so I can read the back story!  I love Tempest's character.  She is impulsive and opinionated, just like any teenager her age would be.  She loves her family, yet she feels duty bound to help save the mermaids and other creatures under the sea.  She is at war with herself trying to figure out what is most important to her. I will not reveal anything that will ruin the book for you, however, I will say that I personally was not happy with her choice in boyfriends at the end of the book. 


I really loved the descriptions of life under the sea! Tracy Deebs' words wove a beautiful picture of ocean life!  Besides great descriptions of ocean life, Tracy Deebs way with words had me feeling Tempest's, Kona's and Mark's emotions.  This book is jammed packed with action and the fighting scenes are great!  This story grabbed my attention right away and I couldn't put the book down!  Long after I finished Tempest Unleashed, I still find myself thinking of the story.  Five stars for an incredible novel by Tracy Deebs!  I hope there is another book in this series!
