Image
Blurb: Courtney and Josh are in love and excited to finally compete as skating partners. When they take the ice for their first competition, they want to show everyone, especially Josh's family, they are the perfect pair. But ice is slippery, and one misstep puts all their dreams in jeopardy. Now they must show each other both their love and their partnership are strong enough to survive.  My Review: Comeaux has done if again with a great addition to the Ice Series! I rooted for Court and Josh in the first book and in this book I really got to know them! Court amazed me with her level of patience and kindness. It was refreshing to have a main character with great qualities including selflessness. She really cared about Josh, not just their skating career. Josh's part to the story was unbelievable to say the least. I won't spoil it so go pick up a copy and read it for yourself! I look forward to more books by Comeaux! Happy Reading!!! Embark Talk on CD by John Bytheway Blog Tour

Image
About this talk: An ideal talk that supports the new 2015 Mutual theme! In this motivating talk related to the 2015 youth theme, John Bytheway explains what it means to truly embark — to get fully on board in the service of God with all your heart, might, mind, and strength. Using scriptures, powerful stories, and his characteristic humor, John explains that with the Savior's help, we can remain on board and eventually stand blameless before God at the last day. My Review: I sat down to listen to this talk before Church one Sunday. Bytheway grabbed my attention from the beginning of his talk and held it raptly until the very end. At times I found myself laughing and at others I felt the Spirit so strongly! Most importantly, I felt motivated to get out and serve the Lord, to be who He wants me to be. Honestly I loved this talk so much that I suggested that the youth in our ward listen to it as a fireside! Whether you are an adult or a teen, age doesn't matter for t

Title: Whispered Lies Author: Kristin Vayden Genre: New Adult Release Date: February 19, 2015 Atonement is my only salvation. So when the opportunity presented itself, to save her. I did. And the tangled web began…Knowing her, but not letting her know me. Keeping her at arm's length when all I wanted to do was have her in my arms. Protecting her, because I finally fell. And the monster she needed protection from… Was me.     Watching her from across the room was the most perfect of torture. As much as I wanted her, I knew she'd never be mine. So I allowed myself to simply burn, experiencing the pain as a reminder that she was close, but also a warning that she was almost too close. The thin line that existed was the tightrope I walked each day, yet like an addict I continued to push the limit, just waiting, hoping against the impossibility. Class ended and I stood up, still watching her from the corner of my eye. She was graceful in a way I doubted anyone els
