I thought this would be more of the funny stories I grew up hearing about J. Golden Kimball. What is nice about this book is that it gives actual history of his father and of himself, so we get to know more of the facts than the myths. It made J. Golden more a real person than this legend/myth he has become. There is a lot of information in this book and even side snippets on almost every page that gives a little story or piece of additional information. This is a very well put together book with all of the historical facts.
