My Review:

This was a really great book! The author tackled some difficult topics like depression, losing both parents, bipolar disorder, half brothers that kick you out of their house, dating someone of a different religion and raising your siblings. This book really took it all head on! Add into all of that a run-down ranch that was left to Emily and it made for quite a story! What would she do with her feelings for Joel? Where would she go when she had to get out of her half brother's house? Take the ride in Sense & Second Chances, you will be glad you tried this LDS novel!
