My Review:

I loved this book so much. It just welcomed me with open arms and kept me there until the very end. There are so many things I want to say about this book. It made me feel so many different emotions, it was not just a run-of-the-mill regency novel. There was depth to the characters and their relationships. I think one of the best parts of the novel is that you get both main characters' perspectives. You get to here from Eleanor and from Edmund. The entire time I kept thinking that there had to be a way that they could move beyond whatever happened in the past, surely they were still meant for each other. There are so many ups and downs; all of the emotions you can imagine are felt in this book. Anger, passion, love, hate, mistrust, understanding, hurt, pain, kindness....seriously this book made me feel. There is more than just romance to the story and every part of it kept me turning pages until the very last one.
