My Review:
This book was so well written I felt like I was there and in the freezing cold in Wales. I loved the character building and getting to know each person. The changes in Lady Catrin was a beautiful transformation. Rhys was swoon worthy and everything a noble and man of honor should be. The love story was woven seamlessly within the historical context. What would you do for love? That is what I felt myself contemplating as I read this book. The struggles, the sacrifices, the courage it took to live during this time, I am amazed. I find myself weeks later still thinking about this story. This is so much more than a love story, it is about love of country, love of your birthright, love of what is right, and most of all following your heart.
