A Christmas Waltz by Josi Kilpack, Book Review
Book Summary:
One dance, once a year.
This defines Marta and David’s friendship from the moment they first meet at the Yuletide Ball. Now, dancing the annual Christmas Waltz is a tradition between the pair in which they agree to tell each other the truth about their lives. Over the years that follow, their lives take different directions, wrong turns, and heartbreaking spirals, but they never miss their chance to reconnect and encourage one another to live their best lives, even if they can’t live them side by side.

My Review:
This Christmas novella is so different from any other I have ever read. Kilpack writes a story of love that takes a different path, a love that is not the way you would envision. I loved that the story was written from alternating perspectives', Marta's and David's. It helped me to understand both people and what they were thinking. Every year they danced the Christmas waltz and it was the most romantic and sweetest thing. Their friendship was forged through a single dance at a yearly ball. Kilpack delivers the unexpected, the unforeseen romance, the impossible love. I read it all easily and I find myself contemplating on it hours after I have finished. This is a Christmas love story like no other!
Happy Reading!!!
