Book Summary:

My Review:

Charity’s story is the one I have been waiting for! How would a blue stocking who truly does not care about London society and the ton, do during her season? Her bright and beautiful personality attracted many suitors including Lord Lockhart. I loved their conversations and debates they had together. They just seemed to fit; two halves of one whole. Johnson definitely pulled a fast one on me and threw in a couple of curve balls. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out and that made it even better. Unpredictable makes for great reading! I love how she brought in the kids and what they could do to help them in their lives. The historical elements brought a realistic and emotional connection to the story. I definitely recommend Pining for Lord Lockhart. I received a copy of this book for free; all thoughts and opinions are my own.
