My Review:

I love fairy tale retellings and I love regency era novels so this book was the best of both worlds. The Marquess and the Runaway Lady is loosely based on Cinderella. I adored Louisa and how she grew throughout the book and became a stronger person. Wick was endearing and his sisters were my favorites!!! Rarely does a book have such wonderful characters that I love them all, but Hastings has managed to do it with this one (except for the villains of course!) I loved the entire Stringham family and how close and tight knit they were. They were loving, kind, and open with each other. It made me want to be a part of their family too! Hastings does a great job keeping the pace going throughout the book and I never lost interest for a moment. I adored the story and hope she writes more fairytale regency stories soon! I received a copy of this book for free; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Happy Reading!!!
