Windswept Way (Hope Harbor #9) by Irene Hannon, Book Review
Book Summary:
Buying a supposedly haunted house wasn't in Ashley Scott's plans, but when an intriguing opportunity drops into her lap, she's ready to launch a new life. But she can't do it alone, and her reclusive new neighbor Jonathan Gray may be just the person to help--if only there were room in his life for romance.
My Review:
There is something magical about the town of Hope Harbor. You will become a part of the town and the wonderful people who live there. And you will hope that one day you might have friends as amazing as the ones who reside there. This is the second book I have read in the Hope Harbor series and I am completely addicted, I need to read them all! The bonus is that you do not need to read them in order, they are fine as stand alone novels.
Windswept Way literally swept me away into Ashley’s life and I finished the book in one day. Hannon brings the reader straight into the town of Hope Harbor and makes them feel like they are a part of it all. I loved Charley with his quiet wisdom and gentle concern for others. The two pastors who play golf together once a week. Rose and her mysterious and reclusive background. And Jon with his scars, the ones hidden and the ones in plain sight. Hannon writes contemporary Christian fiction romance in a beautiful way. Readers will fall in love with the town of Hope Harbor and all of its residents. The gentle weave of faith is the perfect balance to this emotional story of moving past heartbreak and loss. If you are looking for a reading getaway that shares a heartfelt and poignant story, Windswept Way is a must read for you. I received a copy of this book for free; all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Happy Reading!!!
