Houston, We Have A Problem (Love in Sun City #4) by Dana LeCheminant, Book Review

Book Summary:

Houston Briggs is at a crossroads, facing the possible end of his career after a devastating injury. With an uncertain future ahead of him and his siblings finding their own happy endings, he’s desperately seeking peace and purpose.

Enter Darcy Paxton, his refreshing new neighbor who is nothing like the women of his past relationships. There’s a realness about her that Houston can’t resist, and she sees the man behind the athlete, bringing calm to the storm of his life.

However, complicating matters is Tamlin Park, a tenacious sports reporter known for her exposés on athletes’ lives. Despite the threat she poses to his already shaky career, Houston can’t deny the chemistry between them, and she surprises him at every turn with her intelligence and passion for baseball.

Caught between two women who seem made just for him, Houston has no idea what his future holds. If only there was a way for them all to find happiness without someone getting hurt.

Books in the Love in Sun City series are tied together and overlap but can be read in any order or as standalones. (Many recommend reading Houston last for the best experience.) They contain minimal to no swearing and no explicit content.

Book Summary:

This book is epic! The last Installment in the Sun City series is amazing and a must read. While all of the books take place during the same time period, I definitely recommend reading this one last or there will be spoilers. And you don’t want that!

I loved getting to know Houston. From his inability to cook to his generosity to others, he was an amazing guy. Besides that, the guy just happens to be a World Series winning pitcher, and super hot!!! (Insert swoon here) I loved how he and Darcy met, I was laughing so hard! It was memorable to be sure. The struggle with Tamlin and Darcy had me wondering how everything would ever work out.

The moments from the other books that we get to see from Houston’s perspective rounded the entire story out. The Briggs siblings are the best and I think everyone deep down wants siblings who love them like that. The full circle moment with the Wonder Boys and Houston made me smile from ear to ear. Basically LeCheminant makes her readers’ dreams come true with all of the connections throughout this story. Like I said, it is epic! If you like RomComs you need this series in your life and on your shelf. Run and get your copy and then sit down and enjoy the ride!

Happy Reading!!!
