My Review:


I have to say that I am a HUGE fan of Sarah M. Eden!  I own all of her books and when I was offered the chance to read and review Longing for Home, I was ecstatic!  Longing for Home is a very different style of book then Ms. Eden's previous books.  It delves deeper into the personal feelings and life of the main character Katie Macauley.  I empathized with her past and everything she endured when she lived in Ireland.  I wanted to cry for the pain she was holding inside.  I cheered for her fire and desire to not let anyone determine her future for her.  This story is no ordinary one; it weaves together a past of pain, a present of hard work and the unknown and a future of decisions yet to be made.  If you want a book with a real story, with historical roots and about one courageous woman, then this is the book for you.  You will be blown away by the depth of emotion and the battle Katie faces within herself.  Longing for Home is a novel that you do not want to miss!  I highly recommend this book, five stars!  Looking forward to the sequel, because I say that there must be one!
