Blog Tour Schedule Amnesty by Jo Noelle  Cassie is going to heaven—if she can get amnesty from hell in the next twenty days. Her assignment is to change the eternal destination of a girl in Albuquerque to earn admittance into heaven. No sweat. But when Cassie returns to earth during her three-week, mostly-mortal assignment, her old habits get in the way, (apparently habits don’t die when you do), the partners assigned to help her are anything but helpful, and it turns out the girl she is supposed to help is the only enemy she made on her first day of school. Oh, I’m so going to hell. Things aren’t all bad—it helps to have a hot angel on your side. Mmm-Marc. Even though he’s all about heavenly business, Cassie would like to make it personal. Assignment with benefits. This young adult novel is a coming of age story with a clean romance, packed with action and suspense. Palace of Mirrors by Margaret Peterson Haddix, Book Review

Book Summary: "Somewhere in the world I have a tiara in a little box. It is not safe for me to wear it...It is not safe for me even to tell anyone who I really am. But I know -- I have always known." Cecilia knows that she is not just another peasant girl; she is actually the true princess, in hiding until the evil forces that killed her parents are vanquished. A commoner named Desmia is on the throne as a decoy. As she gets older, Cecilia finds it harder to study statesmanship and palace protocol secretly at night and then pretend that she has nothing on her mind other than scrubbing the gruel stains out of her best apron by day. Cecilia knows that it is time to take charge. Along with her best friend, Harper, she flees to the capital city, determined to reclaim her throne and face the danger head on. When Harper and Cecilia reach the famed Palace of Mirrors, they discover complications: Princess Desmia believes an entirely different version of the story. Acclaimed aut

Tour Schedule     Moon Mail and Star Kisses by Amanda Salisbury In Moon Mail and Star Kisses, a loving adult and child must be separated for a little while. The adult promises the child to send greetings and kisses through the night sky, shared no matter the distance of place or time apart. The moon, the stars, and a person’s love are bright and constant even when they cannot be seen. My Review: This children's book is bright and beautiful! While the message is sweet and clear about sending love and kisses via the moon to each other when separated, the jewel of the book are the pictures! Children will be captivated by the bright blues and yellows in the pictures and beautiful illustrations of the sky. This is a sweet book that any parent and child or loved one and child can read together for comfort when they have to be apart! How Beautiful Thy Temples, Sacred Hymns Volume II by Garth Smith, CD Review

Image
How Beautiful Thy Temples  Sacred Hymns Volume II Garth Smith An Angel From On High: This is a piano player’s arrangement. Every time I attend my local temple (San Diego) and look into the sky at the angel Moroni, I get a feeling of majestic reverence for “(the) angel flying through the midst of Heaven, having the everlasting gospel…” I Love To See The Temple: This Janice Kapp Perry song is the one that enters my mind every time I drive to a temple to do ordinance work or even when I pass by. How Beautiful Thy Temples, Lord: One of the most moving hymns I know, verses 1 and 3 sum up so eloquently thepurpose of the temple. I wish this hymn was better known. My hope is that this CD will play a small part in making it more popular among the saints. Families Can Be Together Forever: Besides the sheer physical beauty of the temples, there is one grand reason that makes them beautiful beyond price or worldly value…the eternal nature and salvation of the family. The Lor

Just before her seventeenth birthday, the dreams change. She is no longer alone. But her nightmares don’t end when she wakes up. Her stepmother and stepsisters threaten to ruin everything she holds dear. She must protect the secret that both she and her father have magic or they will use it to their advantage. As Sydney learns to control her magic, what seemed impossible before—escaping her stepmother and those ever-present stairs—is now at her fingertips. When she learns the ultimate plan of her evil captor, Sydney must stop her at all costs, or she will forever be trapped inside her nightmares. My Review: I picked this up when it was a freebie from Amazon and since I love fairy tale re-tellings, I thought I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised
