My Review:

I loved these three novellas from some of my favorite suspense authors. Each story kept me on the edge of my seat and I had to finish even if it was late and I needed sleep.

Abramson’s Secrets of St. Augustine immediately peaked my interest with a potential murder plot for money. A trust fund baby and a scheme to embezzle her money had me page turning until the end. There was a ton of action and I didn’t know quite how it would end. I loved the emotional punch she packed into her novella.

Poulson’s Hounded Recently was an interesting story about a recently retired army ranger. I liked that you were constantly trying to figure out who did what, was it one person or multiple people that they were trying to track down. While I enjoyed the premise of the story, I found myself constantly rewording the sentences people would speak in the book so it was how people would actually speak. Other than that, the story was enjoyable.

Edwards’ story In Plain Sight was a nail biter! I was pulled in from the get-go and she kept me hanging on until the wild ride was over. I loved Agent Ackert and Jaclyn. They were both stubborn and headstrong. Jaclyn’s eyes was something that stuck out and made the story unique, I loved that part. But the heart stopping action is what kept me page turning. I loved this novella.
