Disconnect (A Saint Squad Novel) by Traci Hunter Abramson, Book Review

Book Summary:

Brent Miller is still trying to get past the nightmares of his last mission into Nicaragua when a new commander takes charge of his Navy SEAL team. Commander Gardner has just one to further his career. And the so-called Saint Squad is in his way. When Gardner makes changes that threaten operational readiness, the squad is determined to fight back—until a familiar threat resurfaces, compelling the once formidable team to battle on two fronts against seemingly insurmountable odds.

When equipment fails inexplicably, Brent and the other members of the squad realize too late that terrorists wield a devastating power that will effectively cripple the nation. Forced to utilize their ingenuity and resources to circumvent their new commander, the team faces a chilling even if they find a way to neutralize the threat, bringing everyone home safely may be their greatest challenge yet.

My Review:

This next book in the Saint Squad series had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Abramson really packs a punch in Disconnect. An emotional roller coaster of ups and downs, I couldn’t read fast enough! In this book, the team faces an old threat with bad memories attached, all with a new commander in charge who doesn’t care about the safety of his people. I wanted so badly for someone to put Gardner in his place (or punch him in his face). And the ending of this book! Gah! Seriously, how am I supposed to live my life now? Abramson once again delivers a fast paced, action packed, emotional story with down to earth characters you will love. I received a complimentary copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Happy Reading!!!
