My Review:

A Kingdom to Claim is an extraordinary story of courage, love, and loyalty. In this medieval historical fiction novel, Bessey takes the reader to Wessex and right into the heart of battle when the Vikings invade. I felt like I was there watching everything unfold. The depth of emotion in the story is astounding and I felt like Aisley and Breec were real people. The world that she created was so believable and I was transported to another time and place. The message of faith and prayer woven throughout the story was just perfect and felt natural to the characters. I even loved the minor characters in the book, especially Tabor. A compelling story of loyalty, love, and faith, A Kingdom to Claim is one historical fiction novel you will not forget!
