Thunderstruck (Starstruck Love Stories #3), New Release & Book Review

Book Summary:

Rugby player Cole Evanson doesn’t need romance complicating his life. So when the team’s new athletic trainer—the spunky and stunning Carissa Paxton—arrives, Cole knows he should steer clear and let his teammates make their moves. Easier said than done. Carissa’s vivacious and sweet nature tempts Cole to risk his infamous family curse, which would be a mistake for everyone.

After a brutal breakup, Carissa is ready for a fresh start—no more dating disasters, no more men she can’t trust. But Cole, with his brooding intensity and hidden big heart, is impossible to ignore. Despite her vow to focus on her career, she’s irresistibly drawn to the muscled rugby player who’s more than just a grumpy face. But falling for a colleague again could be dangerous.

Both nursing old wounds, they agree to stay friends and keep their careers on track. But when the notorious tabloid Hollywood Hot Scoop targets them, their budding connection is blasted into the spotlight. With secrets unraveling and chemistry that’s off the charts, Cole and Carissa must risk everything for love or let their pasts tear them apart.

Thunderstruck is a closed door standalone romance with character connections to the other books in the series.

My Review:

I have been dying with curiosity to find out everything about Cole since book one! He was always so quiet and mysterious, and yes, super grumpy. His story did not disappoint! I loved how LeCheminant pulled back all of the layers bit by bit until we really got to know the real Cole. I loved the grumpy meets sunshine vibe with Carissa. Two people could not be more polar opposites. There were some amazing sparks that flew throughout the book and that vending machine scene! *sigh*

Le Cheminant has done it again! This third book in the Starstruck series had me laughing, crying, cringing, and definitely wanting more of this amazing group of friends! Who knew that a couple of movie stars, a famous singer, a rugby player, and a princess could all be so relatable? I loved Cole’s Dad and Grandpa, they were the icing on the cake. Run and get yourself a copy of Thunderstruck!

Happy Reading!!!
